UI design and frontend development for companies in Austria and the DACH region

LONI DIGITAL designs and builds the interfaces of web apps, SaaS platforms and mobile apps for companies and start-ups in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. We review designs with you in person in Austria, in German or English. Whether we design the UI or build from your Figma files, we focus on fast loading, accessibility and a clean layout on every device.

Who it is for

  • Start-ups that want to launch their product with a clear, well-thought-out interface
  • Small and mid-sized companies whose web app works but is awkward to use or looks dated
  • Companies that already have Figma designs and need a team to build them properly
  • Development teams that lack the capacity or the experience for design and frontend work

What you get

  • A UX concept with user flows and wireframes, so you can check the workflows early
  • A UI design in Figma, built on a reusable design system
  • A responsive and accessible frontend for phones, tablets and desktops
  • Fast loading times, because we keep the Core Web Vitals in mind from the start
  • Documented components and full access to the code, the repositories and the Figma files

How your interface takes shape

  1. Understand users and workflows: We find out who uses your application, what they need to do and where they get stuck.
  2. Wireframes and UI design: We sketch the structure as wireframes and then create the visual design in Figma.
  3. Build the components: We turn the design into reusable components, and every week you see a working version in your browser.
  4. Test on real devices and ship: We test the interface on phones, tablets and desktops, with a keyboard and a screen reader, before it goes live.

What a good interface needs

  • Speed: Pages load quickly and respond right away. The Core Web Vitals are our yardstick.
  • Accessibility: Your application should also work well for people who rely on a screen reader or a keyboard.
  • Responsive layouts: The interface adapts to every screen size, from a small phone to a wide monitor.
  • A consistent design system: Shared rules for colors, fonts and components keep everything coherent and make new features quicker to build.
  • Clear states: Loading indicators, understandable error messages and hints on empty screens show users what is happening.

Technologies

We design in Figma and build the frontend with TypeScript and React, using Next.js or Astro depending on the project. For styling we rely on Tailwind CSS, and for mobile interfaces on Flutter. The design system and the code share the same colors, spacing and component names, so little gets lost between design and code. This website is built with Astro too and is a first sample of how we work.

Reviewing designs together

Designs are best discussed around the same table. Our contacts in Austria walk you through designs and prototypes in person, in German or English. The build happens in our own team in Leskovac, Serbia, and you settle details directly with the people who design and code your interface. You can find more on our page about working with us.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you also design, or do you only build existing designs?

We do both. We can design everything from the first wireframes to the finished UI in Figma. If you already have Figma designs, we turn them into a pixel-precise frontend and flag any detail that should be adjusted for small screens or accessibility.

How do you handle accessibility?

We plan for accessibility from the start and aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA, in areas such as contrast, keyboard operation and screen reader support. Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act, which Austria implemented through the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, has required many digital products and services to be accessible.

Which frameworks do you use for the frontend?

We build with TypeScript and React, usually with Next.js for larger web apps and Astro for content-heavy pages. We style with Tailwind CSS and build mobile interfaces with Flutter. We make the choice together with you, based on what your team can maintain later.

Can you make an existing slow frontend faster?

Yes. First we measure what slows the page down, such as oversized images, too much JavaScript, or fonts and scripts that block rendering. Then we fix the bottlenecks that hold your users back and recheck each change against the Core Web Vitals. A complete rebuild is not always necessary.
